Around 80 players, parents, coaches and supporters from across Steventon Cricket Club enjoyed a memorable day at Lord's as they travelled to the Home of Cricket to watch the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Final to watch England take on Australia.
The day provided plenty of entertainment both on and off the field, with club members enjoying time together and sharing their passion for the game. For many of our younger players, it was their first visit to Lord's, making the occasion even more special.
The trip was another great example of the club bringing members together and creating opportunities to enjoy cricket beyond the boundary.
Huge thanks go to Joe Bennett who organised such a brilliant day for everyone, it was just a shame he couldn't have organised the result we'd all hoped for!
